Actually I don't like cyworld. Cyworld was so miserable. Everyday check the number of visitors. And remaining the new posting. People have many time. So I don't make cyworld until 2007. But everybody like doing cyworld. cyworld was new media technologies and it is make reinforce existing social networks and even work to isolate people like me. Why social networks is science? Some people research this part. Many people say that this part '인맥, 학연, 지연' like this.

History of social networks research is simple. Friendship choices between 4th grade boys and girls, kinship studies, six-degrees of separation etc. It was chart connetion of people. Six-degrees of separation was intereasting. It was said we know all people pass by six step. So we lived in the small world. In this theory, I know famous people pass six step or five step?

Social networks have centrallity, bridges, equivalence. There are very important. If they were not in networks, networks was broken. The bridges was broken, we are not find a capital. Bowling alone is become after the second world war. People don't trust each other. So they lost their social capital. So people want make a new social network. And select a new method the new media technologies. But some people don't follow the this method, isolated some people.

Social networks as technology is reaction to others. It was not only human, but also artificial things. For example, some shoppingmall, 'fixing' the networks. We can shopping in the shoppingmall, when we choose the goods, we can see the related recommendation goods. This process also social networks. So we always do some social networks.

Art of social networks is show connetion people and people. In old times, people draw map using pen, pencil, paper. But in time, we made a progam using this program show that connect the each other. This art was not artistic. But it is usefulness.

This part is so complex. Social netwoks is interdisplinaty. Social networks have many parts.

People make media and then media make people. When I was young that I see the similar word 'People make book and then book make people.' This two is powerful influence to people. And
WWW was made of collabolation of people. When doing research, Most important thing is fund. So, Leader's most important mission is supported by other people or organization etc. In that case I think that leader have to know economic.
WWW is standard. and We have so many standard. Why we make a standard. Standard is possible a collaboration writing. And I think it was economical. So many organization is wrote and influence standard. WWW is connect vast people and machine. WWW is made a global village.

Today's class was so interesting. I know what is hypertext a little.but I don't think Cut-ups is a hypertext. I watch the "The Jean Genie". That video so weird.That was just rag. but it is hypertext.
we doesn't explain exactly what is digital media. We have to think that a whole life. I think a forever, I'll find a more than what?
Englebart is pioneer why he make a concept of personal computer. In 1960s, common technology is a hollerith cards and batch processing. That time englebart think mouse, keyboard, monitor, etc. And he was so succeed pursuation. So we used mouse and koebord or something.
Media is a so difficult to me. It wasn't expain exactly. So that is a interesting.

What is digital media technologies? Today's first point is that.
Actually, Digital media is a whole things what connect or separate people.
Dr.yoon said, the egg white is media in art. But I don't understand why that is a media.
Media is a connect somethings and the others. Egg white is connect wall and color.
So egg white is a media specially in art. And we think a car. Car is connect something.
I think car connect or separate city and the other city, or some metarial. It was half true.
Car represent some position , money, or some mind. Media is a variety.
2nd is technology's situation. Today's technology is not separate. Like It was something.
So, we have to know whole things social, political, cultural, economic or something.
We doesn't separate that.
Media is broad and variety than i think. And this time don't need separate technology.
