computer games

We play computergames. But, we don't know how they work. Behind the screen games work from engine. Engine include graphics, physics, ai and etc. But now, People want make itself. This is mods. Mod i by general public developer. People change games image or something. So what makes a good game? I think a many selling game is good game.

CSCW is initial of computer-supported cooperative work. CWCS is a field of research and design like CAD/CAM, ABB, Powerwall, Drug Design. We work together and design computer-systems and networkds to enable or facilitate group work. For example, CAD is automadically caculation all thing about constructures.
"language/action” perspective was presented by Winograd and Flores. Conversations are sequences of actions because by saying things people are understood to be doing things. For example saying is doing like promise. Sometimes I'm doing something not saying.

History of HCI is divided as tools people, systems, funding. History of HCI as tools people is
Vannevar Bush, J.C.R. Licklider, Ivan Sutherland, Doug Engelbart, Ted Nelson, Alan Kay etc. System is Memex, sketchpad, NLS, Xeros alto, Apple Lisa, MAC, NeXT, Macintosh Powrebook, WWW. And Funding is military, Universities, Government, Companies...I think funding is very important every activities. So, We learning about funding. Basic design of HCI is the computer act like person. So HCI and AI meet.
When I did ELIZA, ELIZA's answer is so wrong, and it was not understand my question. I tried to conversation ELIZA but that was not wanted.
Johnstone's "algorithm" is very interasting. haven't story but have story. Sometimes we don't make a story. A Person who did question is make a story but she doesn't feel it was hard. This algorithm have some rule. We have rule and make a story.
I don't know what is ethmomethodology. It maybe make of people's mind that he's mind and social activities, ethics like that.
HCI is not perpect. And We make a media. This media is just tool that make easy to work. But we want more somthing like slave. Tool did it self what I want. And conversation. It was just people's desire. I think.

Artificial intelligence

First, we met a man 'Alan Turing'. He is founding of computer science, artificial intelligence, mathematician, philosopher, codebreaker, and a gay man. He first think of artificial intelligence. imitation game is a some of test what can machines think. It is played with three people, a man, a woman, and an interrogator who may be of either sex. The interrogator stays in a room apart from the other two. The object of the game for the interrogator is to determine which of the other two is the man and which is the woman. Now, we guess who is girl, and boy. It is so difficult. so we think about machines. machines think itself?
But machines have some problem. It doesn't deciding itself. People decide all part. Machines can't think?'
I talked with ELIZA. ELIZA is computer program for communication between Man and Machine. I question something it asked. But it looks like some miserable.
AI is not complete. Some people think it was amazing. but I think it was so weird. If machine could think, it insist a right.
